Open Bionics

Open Bionics is a robotics company creating affordable 3D-printed bionic hands for amputees, researchers and makers.


Open Bionics uses 3D printing to customize bionic hands for each customer. Leading prosthetics can cost up to $100,000. But by using 3D printing, Open Bionics has cut the cost of its bionic hands down to under $1,000. That’s two orders of magnitude cheaper, meaning these bionic hands can reach a far broader audience.
